More boating

On Saturday (the 23rd) C and Katya asked Leah, E, and me if we wanted to go boating again. And of course we did. :) It was really fun, but then it is always fun! Here are some fun pictures we took.
Rope for the tube on the dock. So pretty.
See the shiny blue-ish pearl color in the yellow paint? Fancy! (Click on the picture to see it better. You can't see it very good, but it's there. :) Look close.)

~Wednesday fishing trip~

Hello ya'll. I know, I haven't posted in a very long time. And because I haven't posted I've been stocking pictures and post ideas up. So you will see what has been happening over the last few weeks. :) This post is going to be for Wednesday, June 13. :) Yeah, a little way back, but it is fun anyway.

B came over Tuesday to spend the night and go home Wednesday night and Wednesday morning I took E and B out to the lake and they fished for a few hours in the morning before the noon meal. If I remember right E was the only one to catch a fish and it was just a small sunny. Here are some pictures.
Scoping out the lake.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
~Blue Girl and J. F. Kennedy~
~Isn't she beautiful? My new rose of this year!! Miss Blue Girl. You may recall when I planted her and couldn't wait for her to bloom! Well, the Lord allowed her to bloom this year instead of waiting until next year and I'm so happy, she's so pretty!~~Mr. J. F. Kennedy. Also so pretty and pure looking. So nice to have pretty roses that bloom!~~J.F. Kennedy again~ ~And Kennedy yet again.~
Your thoughts?
Ta-da! My new blog look. :) What do you think? I would really enjoy hearing what you think needs changed or what needs to stay the same (ex. color, text size, font, etc.), or what you think of the blog in general (ex. good or bad), instead of little tiny things (ex. color, font, etc.).
P.S. Please excuse the over lapping pictures as of right now, since I changed my template I need to redo some of my post. :) I will try to fix them ASAP!! Please be patient with my slow progress.
Please note ...
As you scroll down the page please notice my "Recommended Reading" list on the right side. It is there to show you the books that I've learned and benefited from and in case you're looking for a good book to read and you're not quite sure what to pick up, take a look. I will keep adding as I continue to read, so keep checking. :)
Tidbits
(Left and Right) Tiny candle I made.
(Bottom two) A cup and saucer that Grandma S gave me. Her birthday is in April not mine, but she wanted me to have it. New family heirloom. :) Coolness.
~ New reading ~
I've finished "Loving God with All Your Mind," by Elizabeth George and now I'm starting another one by her (see bottom picture). :) I highly and wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone who wants to love God more, to love Him with all your mind! A very good, convicting book! Pick it up if you get the chance!
