So ...

I know what you're all thinking ... *Gasp* It's a- It's a-a-a post!!!!

Honestly, I'm kind of thinking the same thing. What has happened to the last month (over actually) since I last posted!? Do you ever have those times when you get this GREAT idea of something to post, but you're not home, or at least not around your computer, and then when you actually HAVE the time to post you think ... "Why was I going to post THAT?!" ... Yeah, that's kind of been my story the last many, many weeks. I've even taken pictures to post and then when I look at them I think, "Aww, that's kinda dumb."

But, here I am. Finally posting again on this poor abandoned blog. I've missed posting and missed hearing from all you guys. Your comments honestly brighten my days! So, leave me some. What are you all up to? But most importantly, what is God doing in your life? I do check your blogs when time permits, but I don't always have the time to sit and read a lot. But I'd love to know, and since there is a comment box ... well ... I'd shaw be grateful ta ya iffin ya used it. *wink*

Yesterday evening I rearranged my room ... well, actually it started Saturday night because Leah was feeling rearrange-y and rearrange-ied her room which inspired me to at least try my hand at this rearranging and *gasp* could I honestly mean ... Decorating! My ideas of decorating consist of pounding a nail in a wall and putting a picture on it or tacking something onto a bulletin board. Thankfully Leah's idea of decorating is something more like this. One of her great ideas that she shared with me, when I was trying to beautify said bulletin board was instead of using pins or tacks to pin pictures up, use old earrings. And instead of just having a bookshelf, light it up with a string of lights intertwined within and around the things on the shelves (actually, I just came up with that one just now, as I was sitting here typing, but it sounds like a Leah or Katie decorating thing.)

Anyway. That was just a little unnessiscary up-date for all ya wonderfully faithful readers out there. :) And just so ya know, there will be pictures ... eventually. Yes, I AM going to try to keep up on the blogging again. We'll see how that goes! Thanks for stopping by!

Wow!! I am surprised to find a post! :) You're not that bad at decorating! You just have to be in the right mood....

Now see? You just inspired yourself with the shelf-lighty thing. Brilliant. :P

Yay!!
You're right, I was, like, "Gasp! A post???" I've missed your posts. :-) But I understand you've been busy. :-)

In answer to your questions: (1) What am I up to? School, Bible class, raking leaves, preparing for NaNoWriMo (in which I will try to write a 50,000 word novel in the month of November!), sewing, reading "A Tale of Two Cities", and a couple other things. (2) What has the Lord been doing in my life? A lot! Mainly He's been bringing up, time and time again, lessons about pride and humility-- showing me how full of myself I am and how I need to be full of Christ! He's also teaching me to focus on Him more and worship Him even throughout the day, not just when I'm "having my devotions."

Hope you have a great week, Ana! *hugs*

Thank you so much for leaving me such a wonderful comment! It truly made me laugh and made my day! You sounds busy. I can't wait to see what you come up with for November (writing I mean). And, yes, God does tend to show us things like that. :) I'm speaking from experience. But He is faithful and will give us the grace and strength to do what He asks of us!

Thanks again for such a SWEET (!!) comment. *Hugs back*

Hmm...what have I been doing??

Working as usual, enjoying taking care of an 18 month old who is showing more personality every day. :) Knitting on too many projects at once. Pondering what I craft/sewing projects I might want to do next year.

As far as what God has been doing in my life...challenging me to trust in Him completely. Convicting me of my pride and selfishness, and humbling me while drawing me to himself. Painful, but blessed.

I'm glad you're blogging again...or will try to. I've missed your posts! :)

Your projects: sewing, crocheting, knitting, whatever they may be, are always an inspiration to me!

And yes, God has also been working in my life on trusting Him, and ONLY Him. But as you said, it is a blessing to know that we are His Sons,(or daughters) when He shows us where we need to change.

Thanks so much for the comment! Have a good rest of the week.

I was soo glad to see a post!! Welcome back!!:) :)

I've been doing schoolWORK (sure is laborious...;P), all the yardwork that goes along with fall, Bible class, wishing I could fly, writing, reading, 'Rithmetic (Algebra, actually)...:) Ok, I just realized I went around in a circle, and I'm getting a bit carried away...:P

The Lord has been teaching me alot lately about pride..."Who do I think I am?", and how I'm so unworthy of the grace He bestows every day.:)

Again, it's really nice to see you back on here!!!:) :) :)

HI ANA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D Welcome back to Blogger! :) It was SOOO nice to pull up my dashboard and see that you'd posted. :)

The Lord has been working in my heart a lot lately in the area of waiting for Him and trusting in Him when the way is dark. He is so good.

Stay active! ;)

Love,
Amanda
