Ana-
I did watch Persuasion on Sunday and that was the first time I had seen it.I read on another site that our version was cut by about 10 minutes to fit the time frame compared to the UK version. The DVD is supposed to have the longer version.

There was also a version of Persuasion made in 1995 that was about 18 minutes longer than the one we saw.Your welcome for the movie list I sent you.

Thanks for the comment on my header. It's called Singing to the Reverend By Edmund Blair leighton.

Wahoo for Jane Austen!! I really enjoyed Persuasion. I'll have to read the book sometime. But until then, and I content to watch the movies with you. Then you can explain to me what's going on! :)
Love you!

So ... what did you think of Persuasion?!? (I've seen it too and love comparing oppinions on JA movies! :->)

Oh ... and I don't think I ever mentioned this before, but I love your banner/graphic. VERY nice! :-D

Thank you for the comment you left me on the poem, it's a favorite of mine. :)

And I LOVED Pursuasion! Last night I saw the 1995 version but didn't like it as much as the 2007 version (the one on TV last Sunday.) I love Jane Austen! She's one of my favorite writers.

And thank you for your comment on my header, it's actually a picture I took of my desk because my desk is in the corner of my room and that's where I do practically everything. :) Thank you for your comments. It's such a joy to get on and see comments from dear hearted people like yourself!
