The Bible tells us we are the light of the world. What does that mean? If we're the light of the world, then the world is dark, correct? But what does it look like to shine in the dark? Playing with my candle this evening shows how bright a light is in the dark, and how we're supposed to shine for Christ in a dark world. How different we're supposed to be. Notice how the light illuminates what the darkness once hid!? That is how we're supposed to be for Christ, showing our light to the world. Don't hide the light, be different! Be as the Lord calls you to be! A light in the darkness.

I really liked the illustration to the verses with these pictures. It makes you think when you see that little flame in the darkness...and how much of a difference that it makes! May we all be that way in the darkness of this world! ~katie rose
