I am not sure why, but Juncos have always been a real favorite of mine. When we lived in the cities, we used to see LOTS of them in the winter...it was something we used to look forward to (seeing the winter birds for the first time in the fall, that is!). I always would wonder how those little birds would keep warm in the zero degree weather! They are so adorable.
Here are the pictures of the Black-Eyed Junco (Zero Bird) that I told you all about before. :) I finally got a couple of them!
